Effects of Electromagnetic Radiation on the Human Body

How does radiation impact your long-term health, and what can you do about it?

Many people live with the mantras “out of sight, out of mind” or “so far, so good.” You don’t feel the urgency to make improvements in your life...until suddenly you’re hit with a health issue. But only the news is sudden; the health issue has likely been building inside for years—undetected. For example, radiation exposure is something we all deal with on a regular basis, but how often do you think about the impact that radiation exposure has on your long-term health? And did you know you can get safe protection from radiation with the QiOne 2 Pro?

What is radiation?

Radiation is energy in the form of a wave or particle that travels from a source through space or other mediums. It has both an electric field and a magnetic field, due to the attraction and repulsion of electric charges. While a magnetic field is produced by moving electric charges, an electric field is produced by stationary charges. Thus, the term electromagnetic field (EMF).

Radiation can take many forms and is usually characterized as either ionizing or non-ionizing.

Ionizing radiation

Ionizing radiation has a higher frequency and shorter wavelength than non-ionizing radiation. When passing through matter, this form of radiation carries enough energy to completely knock out electrons from an atom or molecule, producing charged particles (or ions). Altering of molecular structures can cause serious health problems: burns, radiation sickness, cancer, and DNA damage. Due to its ionizing nature, elaborate protection measures for this are mandatory. Sources include X-rays and gamma rays, among others.

Non-ionizing radiation

Non-ionizing radiation does not carry enough energy to remove (ionize) electrons from atoms or molecules: the lower frequencies and longer wavelengths don’t have the power to break the chemical bond.

Non-ionizing spectrum sources include infrared (IR), visible light, microwave (MW) and Radio Frequency (RF) such as:

  • microwave ovens
  • radar
  • cell phones
  • cell phone towers
  • smart meters
  • Bluetooth
  • WiFi
  • scanners
  • extremely low frequency (ELF) such as power lines, electrical wiring and common appliances.

The threshold at which radiation is considered “ionizing” is not precise, since different atoms and molecules ionize at different energies. Biological damage from UV and IR, similar to that of ionizing radiation, has been observed and is an accepted fact. But the issue of controversy has been whether radiation of non-ionizing lower frequencies (such as MW and RF) poses health risks.

Risks of radiation exposure

There has yet to be a consensus in scientific evidence proving an indisputable link between cell phone use (and other man-made EMFs) and health problems in humans.  This is partly due to the fact that there hasn’t been enough time to conduct long-term studies. Adding to the confusion is the fact that different experiments are employing different stimuli to measure different potential effects. For example, there are those who claim that human exposure to 5G poses no health risks simply because, unlike ionizing radiation, it doesn’t cause bodily thermal heat and because 5G complies with radio frequency exposure guidelines.

Other variables such as radiation “dose”, length of exposure, radiation source, and pre-existing body sensitivities, contribute to the challenge of measuring the adverse effects of EMFs with unquestionable results.

But research conducted by scientists around the world is building fast. Many peer-reviewed laboratory and epidemiological studies reveal the following seven potential health risk areas of human exposure to electromagnetic radiation (also known as wireless radiation) from the telecommunications industry:

  • Brain tumors, breast cancer, leukemia and other cancers
  •  DNA damage and DNA repair inhibition
  •  Neurodegenerative diseases such as Alzheimer’s and ALS
  •  Neurobehavioral problems, autism
  •  Pregnancy and reproductive problems
  •  Sleep disturbances, headaches, dizziness, depression, irritability, tremors, fatigue
  •  Adverse impact on the body’s neural, circulatory, immune, endocrine and skeletal systems.

This list is by no means complete.  Conventional wisdom says that if there are any adverse effects from 5G, they will be on or near the surface of the body – like skin cancer or other skin conditions. But we know that irradiation can begin with the skin, and then develop into other systemic problems.

Solution: Digital detox & QiOne 2 Pro

Our bodies mainly consist of water and are controlled by electrical impulses. Electromagnetic radiation can negatively affect these natural bodily processes, causing oxidative stress. How could it not, given that by volume we are 60-70% water and by molecular count we are 99% water?

Rather than wait for long-term studies to all reach the same conclusion, experiment with yourself. Indulge in some digital detox for a week and check for notable differences in your energy, quality of restful sleep, mood shifts, and overall well being.

And then invest in yourself with QiBlanco’s QiOne® 2 Pro. It’s the perfect balance of internal strengthening and external protection. All you need to do is wear the frequency technology device.
